I would not recommend BYD Chester because I had agreed a price for my car. I’m joining a new company and the company are paying for the car. The salesman had confirmed the price and I had order accepted from BYD. The new company had also confirmed the order with BYD. On Monday of this week I had a phone call from the sales person saying that a car was offered on the price agreed providing that the sale was in October. This was never discussed. I explained at the very start I wanted the car to be delivered and ready for the 6th of November. I wrote to BYD Chester explaining nine points that were not agreed or had misgivings. I received a reply stating that the price would be honoured for delivery on the 6th of November. On Tuesday afternoon I was requested a deposit of £1000 and a link was sent to me. I picked this up and sent it to my new company on Wednesday morning. Obviously as a business you’re dependent on personnel being available to complete such a transaction. I received an email on Thursday morning saying that the car had been sold to another party on Wednesday afternoon. On querying this with the sales manager I was told the sale is not a sale on holiday deposit is paid. I had been given less than 24 hours to arrange a deposit. Service very unsatisfactory.

As there was no payment, the vehicle continues to be listed for sale on our multiple platforms. Consequently, when another customer placed a deposit, we notified you that it had been sold.
